Glass and Glazing
Processes flat glass at the Bayswater plant and installs glazing products on site. The plant cuts, edges, toughens, laminates and mirrors glass, and the glazing crew measures and fits shower screens, splashbacks, mirrors, balustrades and windows in accordance with the Australian Standard for glass in buildings.
What the team is accountable for
- Cut and process glass by hand and automatic machine
- Toughen, laminate and label safety glass
- Measure, assess and install glazing products on site
- Handle and move glass safely using racks, cranes and suction lifters
- Maintain furnace, cutting table and edging machine records

Schedules crews and trucks to sites, records site induction and job safety analysis completion and captures handover and call-back status.

Lists every machine, lifting device and vehicle with its risk assessment date, service schedule, status and authorised operators.
